Membership Application
Any organization involved in, or associated with, the Aerospace and Defence industry in Newfoundland and Labrador may become a member of the ADIANL by applying to the Association, having its application assessed and approved by the ADIANL Board of Directors, and paying the appropriate membership fee for the Tier of membership.
Each application for membership in the Aerospace and Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador will be reviewed independently. ADIANL is the most focused Association in Atlantic Canada and we strongly encourage applicable companies to join.
Membership Tiers
The Aerospace and Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (ADIANL) is focused on facilitating the enhancement of the industry in the following key areas:

Building stronger recognition for Newfoundland and Labrador’s Aerospace and Defence industry within the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Government of Canada.

Enhancing the profile and competitiveness of the provincial Aerospace and Defence industry in global markets.

Building strong relations with trade associations in other provinces.

Identifying specific opportunities for the benefit of the industry in the Newfoundland and Labrador.

Tier 1
Criteria
The criteria for ADIANL Tier 1 level membership includes: direct involvement in Maintenance, Manufacturing, Training, Repair, Overhaul and/or Information Technology in the Aerospace and Defence industry; having the organization based in Newfoundland and Labrador; and possessing a recognized aviation, aerospace, or defence industry certification.
Fee
The fee is $1000.00 per year.
Benefits
Tier 1 members will have ADIANL Board of Directors voting privileges and will be fully profiled in the Company Capability Guide and on the web site, www.adianl.ca.
The benefits to belonging to the Association include networking, newsletters, and distribution lists. It is a chance to bring real value to an organization in the following ways:

The Association will provide members with opportunities for discussion, education, training, and information dissemination. In addition to being profiled on the capability guide and web site, members will be showcased and supported at international, national, and provincial industry trade missions and events. Current events being participated in include the Farnborough International Air Show 2004 in the UK and the Atlantic Aerospace, Defence, and Security Exhibition, formerly the Nova Scotia International Air Show and Exhibition in Halifax, NS. The Association will serve as a voice for its members in communicating with all levels of government.
Tier 2
Criteria
Tier 2 organizations include non-voting businesses and stakeholders who wish to support the objectives of the Association and do business within the Aerospace and Defence industry, such as: financial institutions, research centers, consultants (engineering, business services, marketing, electronic commerce and insurance), etc.
Fee
The fee is $250.00 per year.
Benefits
The companies that join this section will be listed as Tier 2 members in the Association Company Capability Guide and the web site. There will be two separate distribution lists, one for Tier 1 members and one for all ADIANL members. |
